Cuban winter warmer…

Winter is a time for staying in bed just that extra bit longer to get the courage scraped together to get up and get dressed and on days when we do not need to go to work or tend to the multitude of tasks associated with raising a family we often opt to stay in bed. Our suggestion is that you invest in a beautiful bed that envelops you in luxury and comfort to make the winter months that are surely sneaking up on us a bit more bearable.

Homemakers Expo was once again a roaring success. We particularly enjoyed meeting and acquainting visitors to the range of furniture we exhibited there and the response was overwhelming.

I’m delighted to inform you that we have also added to our already extensive range; offering you a wealth of new ideas which will be displayed on our website soon.

Knowledge is a commodity

As we pass through life; whether we intentionally study and obtain degrees, or perhaps just gain skills and values by observing others, we never truly stop learning. Since the dawn of man, knowledge has been revered and prized by mostly all of civilization.

As we head into February, many students in our wonderful country settle into their studies for the year ahead at our fine academic institutions. Yet as stated above, formal education is not the only source of knowledge.

Why not read more this year? Perhaps attend night classes or community programs that teach a skill or brings information about a subject that has always fascinated you. Perhaps a new passion and subsequently a whole new business may sprout from it. At the very least it would make you a more interesting dinner guest.

New Beginnings

There is something to be said for new beginnings. Every year in January, we begin building anew on the hopes and dreams that, perhaps, did not quite realize in the previous year. I take it that for many of us January 2011 would not be much different. We look at our hopes and dreams in a new light, having had the luxury of quiet contemplation over the holidays, and we seem to have a bit more drive to realize these dreams.

We should, however, not see only a new year as a new beginning. Every single day is a chance to adjust course, to do things a bit differently to how it was done the day before, and this makes every day a wonderful gift to each one of us. Every single day is the gift of a new beginning!

As we come to the end of another year, I’d like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude, for your patronage and loyalty. It has been a productive year, and we thank you for the part you played in our success.

This year we have:

•  Showcased our products at several trade shows
•  Upgraded our website
•  Expanded our already vast product range

We are still going full speed ahead until our factory shutdown on the 22nd Dec.
